ISNHS DAY

 



The annual month-long celebration of high school athletics and activities – National High School Activities Month – begins at the  Ilocos Sur National High School  (ISNHS). During this special time, the more than 5,000high school students are encouraged to promote the values inherent in high school athletics and other activities such as games, , music and etc.

High school sports and activity programs provide one of the best bargains in our community and nation and will continue to do so as long as our nation supports them as an integral part of the education of our young peopleNational High School Activities Month serves as an opportunity to remind the public that already in place in every community is a comprehensive program addressing society’s most current concerns

  1. There are a lot of flaws in this blogs in terms of grammatical and structural aspect. Despite that, we should continue to work on ourselves and find improvement within us. Life is an unending cycle of development. Don't be stagnant, work your way up. Soar, Fly, and Aim High!

  2. You outlined the events that occurred on our Alma Mater's High School Day, although it would have been better if you had said it in greater detail. It is preferable if you have explained the rationale behind the celebration's implementation, the significance of the occasion, and what the event's theme is. Overall, though, it's a wonderful blog.

KANNAWIDAN

 Kannawidan Ylocos is an annual festival that celebrates the founding of the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines every 2nd of February. A week-long celebration, its activities span from the last few days of January to the first week of February. Major activities occur in Vigan, the capital of the province. History of Kannawidan Ylocos Kannawidan Ylocos comes from the word tawid. Its English translation means tradition, legacy, and/or heritage. It marks the historic establishment of the province during Spanish times. Kannawidan Ylocos was first launched within the term of Deogracias Victor Savellano in 2008. It was started to promote awareness and preservation of the local culture, tradition, heritage, and customs. It was also an opportunity to showcase local products, artistry, and craftsmanship. Lent Celebration

 Lent is a 40 day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday. It's a period of preparation to celebrate the Lord's Resurrection at Easter. During Lent, we seek the Lord in prayer by reading Sacred Scripture; we serve by giving alms; and we practice self-control through fasting. We are called not only to abstain from luxuries during Lent, but to a true inner conversion of heart as we seek to follow Christ's will more faithfully. We recall the waters of baptism in which we were also baptized into Christ's death, died to sin and evil, and began new life in Christ. Many know of the tradition of abstaining from meat on Fridays during Lent, but we are also called to practice self-discipline and fast in other ways throughout the season.
